well it has been a long time since I have updated this baby!! I have new art coming so don't worry....in the mean time I have found what I will call my newest obsession the jackalope!! Now I fell in love with it back in school and now that Im out in the world I have the means to buy me one for my apt! Its weird butt if anyone knows me something like this fits just right! Well i must get back to drawing, I have a new painting in the works so things will be posted soon.

Well I found my spirit...and behold it was in a Mr Potato head..Halloween style!! I have been bitching about getting one for a long time ( and never got it ) so I found one on sale and bought it for myself. He sits on my desk at work and my boss thinks Im a weirdo but at least he respects me and my potato......hey it could be worse I could be working a lame customer service job with no potato.....right?

So I have received a promotion at work which I am so happy about !!! So with that I got my first big project branding for a Design company here in Los Angeles, so since they want an urban feel to the logo I shot some awesome graffiti as inspiration...enjoy!!

I haven't updated this little Dog and pony show is such a long time..but let me give you the jist of things of what has been happening in my little land!

1. I got a job...Firebrain INC.

2. I am alive and kicking...which is always good.

3. I have lots of work to show but I have to wait for the okay from the head cheese at work.

4. oh saw this little band called Metallica at the wiltern...pictures to come.

5. Lots of ideas pour out of my little brain on to paper....to be continued

So I have updated this thing in a long while so I figured I would let the few people that read this a heads up on what I have been keeping busy with.

1. I have taken up some freelance jobs so I shall be busy for a while.

2. I have co-founded a production company with a few good friends Roux Productions ( more on that soon )

3. Oh and for a few special people there are two paintings that I have started work on so keep your eye out for sketchs and comps soon!!!

Even though this old girl doesn't have a 9-5 I do keep myself busy!!! I really feel sorry for those who do have the oppertunity to have a good paying job and complain about it 24/7 keep your complaints to yourself. Any hoo I am so excited about my future ventures and I hope that they do well so in the mean time kids I leave you with the almighty chicken!!!

Iphone mania

Since the purchase of my lovely iPhone I have been in search for a cool cover for said phone. In school some of my Illustration teachers ( Bob Dob & Nathan Ota ) have created covers for iPhones and iPods. I got a skin for my mini about a semester or so ago they are great quality and never lose their adhesive. The company that produces them is Gelaskins.com they run about $15.00 a piece. I'm waiting to get this one for my iPhone the website also produces mac skins for your Mac books!!! Take a look at the many other artists that have work there as well.
